Welcome back to the Smart Send Authority series.
We have been through the nuts and bolts of everything you need to run an email campaign system. Not just once, but continually across the year.
We have covered content, templates, systems, how to segment your audience, and how to audit your results.
If you missed any of these, you can go back and see them all via the links in the email or by the links in the blog.
You've made real progress (even if it doesn't feel like it)
Now, you've made real progress.
If you've implemented all of this, you'll be seeing real results.
However, I am very aware that a lot of people will just read and run. And even if they do implement something, there will be a case of beating yourself up for not doing the rest of it, or forgetting it, or getting it mislaid along the way.
So, the first thing is: work out where you were, and where you are now.
With any luck, you've already put in a few campaigns. So you can see, for example, that your results are higher, you're feeling much more motivated, and a lot happier about doing it.
Progress is imperfect
Progress is imperfect.
You might have the map, but you don't necessarily always have the time to implement it. And we get it.
It's not like a set of steps up the stairs. It's messy.
It's more like a climbing wall. You go forward, you go back, you go sideways, you go "what the heck's happening with this?"
So this is the first thing.
If you're looking to accelerate anything in your life, especially in your business life, having someone to help you makes a huge difference.
You can ask them questions. You don't feel alone. They keep you on track.
And that's why I offer coaching.
So if you want to refine, scale, personalise, and yes, take all the shortcuts, come to me and we'll do a one-to-one package together.
You've got to be in it for the long haul
Now, the trick with email marketing is you've got to be in it for the long haul.
It's got to be something you enjoy doing, and it's got to be something you enjoy writing or talking about.
As I said, I always try to do a system here that allows you to replicate content.
Every week, I do a bit of blogging. I write the email off the back of it, and we do the social media marketing outreach based off that.
It's useful. It gets done in the middle of the week. We can plan in advance. We don't panic. There's always something going out.
So make sure you celebrate the wins, make sure you celebrate where you're at, and then look at where the roadblocks are.
What's making you stuck right now?
What's making you stuck right now?
Take a piece of paper and write down two columns: where you are, where you want to be.
From there, you can work out where you need to go, and more importantly, what motivates you to do it.
Now, everyone says, "oh, it's the money."
It's really hard to think about the money when you're knee-deep in running content, and you cannot find where your next email campaign subject line is coming from, and you've got the phone ringing off the hook, and you realise you're behind on your reports.
Here's what's possible
So, here's what's possible.
I can usually increase your results by a third.
We can up your open rate for welcome emails. We can definitely up your engagement rate. We can sort out what your conversion rate should look like and give you things that you can aspire to within a sensible time frame.
Does that help?
You can have a look at my packages or, as I said, please contact me direct to answer your questions and we can work out something that is suitable for you.
Reply if you're curious or just bookmark this.
As I said, I'm not going anywhere and neither is this series. So make sure you come back.
At the end of the day, it depends on action
But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter how many blogs you read, it doesn't matter how many emails you delete.
What matters is action.
